Who do you have tonight? I think will be a 2-3 possession game with the Tigers getting out of Jackson with a win. I think the experience and depth of McClain will be too much for the Ironmen tonight in the end.

I agree I think it will be a 2-3 possession game, however I believe the Ironmen come out on top. McClain has more experience, but i don't see a lot of depth. They are very good with their starting 5 on the floor. they generally play 2 subs, as does jackson. I see this game being a 7 on 7. I give the edge to Jackson with their Athleticism.

Given that McClain has 10 seniors, I'm assuming that 8/9/10 for McClain are seniors, and that 8/9/10 is more experienced and maybe more talented than the Ironmen's 8/9/10.

I don’t think the 8-10 players will make much of a difference

That's what I'm saying though. If both teams got into Foul Trouble and had to play guys 8-10, McClain has more experience and depth there. All I'm saying.

I agree McClain has 10 seniors, I did not debate that. I would venture to say that 8-10 in a group of seniors have less playing time than 3-5 sophomores. Seniors 6-7 and younger Badgley were the primary players on JV last season. So really only 5 players on McClain Roster have varsity experience. and 4 players for Jackson have varsity experience.

Generally if you are 8-10 in a class, then younger kids will be getting more playing time to get them ready for when seniors 1-7 leave. So I will stick with this being a 7 on 7 game. If one team gets into foul trouble it will have a big impact on the game. If both team are in foul trouble, then its still a 2-3 possession game IMO.

Tigers can guard and have balanced scoring. All about tempo - most teams will struggle in the quarter court against McClain.

I like Jackson here.... I think McClain is getting a tad bit too much hype this early in the season.

I wouldn’t go that far. McClain is a very good basketball team, if they stay healthy they will have an excellent season. Toney and Badgley would start for probably any team in SEO.
