I think that the ovc in basketball will rival any league in the state for small schools.
all public schools as well.

I feel Fairland will win in a nail-biter. If the officials let it get real physical, Tigers will prevail. Fairland has a lot of weapons but not real good defensively. 62-60

Firebreather - I haven't seen the Dragons this season (yet) but Coach Speed's philosophy is to play the tough/pressure D ... I have always been impressed with Coach Speed's kids on defense ... I hear Fairland has size this season which hasn't been the case for a couple of years ... looking forward to seeing the post game write-ups and chat on this one ... keep us informed please as to how this one is playing out tomorrow night with some score updates throughout ...

pfloyd, They just don't have that Sr. that gets up in your face and says "i'll shut you down". The youth leads to that. I'm not saying anything about Coach Speed's philosophy at all. Good coach, just doesn't have that type of kid right now.

This will be a very good barometer for the expectations of each squad the remainder of the way. Although let's face it, this IHS team has the potential to play much better when Carey becomes eligible.
As for tonight, I am going to go with IHS by 1.... 58-57

Rough shooting night for both teams. Both took turns leading by 4-6 points. Fairland pulls away to the largest difference in the game at the very end winning 45-38.

Good road win for the Dragons. Neither team shot well and open shots were available. Look for both teams to do well this season.
