Parkersburg South is probably the best team Warren is going to face this season. They just came off a 112 point scoring performance. They have excellent guard play. Averaging nearly 83 ppg. Post players are solid as well. Overall, a very deep team. The only loss is against a solid Dublin Coffman team the first game of the season. It should be a huge challenge for Warren and an excellent atmosphere. In previous seasons, these were always hotly contested games with technicals and all sorts of drama. If you want some good $7 entertainment on Saturday night, come out to Vincent and watch the “Corridor D Bridge Showdown!”

Doubt South is better than New Philadelphia or Dover.

I haven’t seen New Philly play. Ive heard they were good. I’ve watched Dover. They have one really good guard and a few good big guys from what I remember. Personally, I wasn’t overly impressed. I’ve watched Parkersburg South three times this year, they are very good and a fantastic shooting team.

I would say Dover by 10....but it's at South.

Sounds like a hotly contested game. South just started the tough stretch of their schedule tonight (had an away game last night as well). The remaining tough opponents are @ Morgantown Dover, and Linsly x2 .

Warren is well coached and is very tough at home. Great job Warriors to compete! Keep up the good work, stay healthy, and keep preparing for the tourney!

Dover will need to play with discipline @ Parkersburg South. It’s a very difficult environment to play at. The crowd is totally engaged, it’s loud, and the student section is right on the court and constantly in the opposing team’s ear. If South shoots well, they will be hard to beat. If Dover enforces their physical style of play (if the refs allow it), Dover will have the upper hand. After watching both teams play this year, I think South has the better BASKETBALL players. I believe Dover has the best overall player in TC Molk and the better coach; however, Cyrus Traugh will give him a run for his $. Gonna be a fun one.

Warren up by five points late in the game and allows South to escape with a win. Good luck Warriors the rest of the way.

dover wins 69-48

Not, obviously, surprised. Dover is great defensively, offensively. That team is a nightmare in the eastern and southeast district. Unfortunately they’re D-1 in Ohio. District finals at best Great team and coach !

Warren has put a team together after the first game. Will be a good one.
