Ironton still trying to get their basketball legs after a decent football season the slow starts need to dealt with.
Coal Grove had Ironton on the ropes and Ironton pulled it out.
I'll take Ironton at home by 3

Fairland probably more ready for this game given who they’ve played so far. Ironton will be there at the end but has to play better defensively. The game where you give up 60 to Coal Grove is the type of effort that gets you run out of your own gym.

Ironton has got to stop taking bad shots and trying to pad stats. They’ve gotten away with it against lesser teams thus far but it will not work on the 19th. It’s time to play team ball and get everyone involved. Wanna pad stats? Pad the rebounds and assists columns. This team is very talented and can be great. Selfishness will not get them there.

... thanks TSYS ! heading to Stewart to see Federal Hocking vs Marietta , then will catch the Fairland @ Ironton matchup when I get home ... I'll see Fairland live on Thursday when the Dragons take on Linsly in I'town ...

Fairland starting center Noah Marcum was in a boot Friday after a bad ankle injury earlier in week. Not looking good for him to play which could be a big factor in this game and in the future!
