Warren had no troubles down at Berple the other night. Winning those 5v8 games is what separates the great teams from the average teams.

Several missed layups and open shots in the final minutes — didn’t see the entire game yet.

The home boy WV refs are appointed by the TVC and not from Belpre High School. Go to YouTube and watch the game, an awful lot of calls that weren’t good for either team or coach. What I watched last night was 2 teams playing hard. Anyone that comes on here and talks trash about refs that’s from Fed has to be delusional. All you’re doing is taking away from the effort that both teams put forth last night. Those refs do a bunch of TVC games at other schools.

I don’t believe high schools assign the officials anymore, and it’s been that way for awhile. No more teams getting “homed,” anymore.

I'm going with the fact that Evan McPherson for FH was out injured had more of an effect than the officials - at least 3 pts/hustle plays/ height & length on the boards to counteract Junior Bass's size inside for Belpre ... Federal Hocking is thin on the bench/take away 1 player - it hurts (at least 3 points worth of hurt - guaranteed) ... the Lancers will be fine when they get back to full strength ... a big matchup with Warren in the Clash at the Coliseum next Saturday will be fun to see ! ...
