Who is “HIM” in the Week that IS? 12/18-12/23/23

Trying to give props to all of the players across the SE District who had excellent performances each game night - win or lose! .... offensive or defensive performances! ... starters or off the bench! - players who had outstanding contributions to the TEAM effort ... I only get to 1 game per night - those players get recognized in my writeups BUT there are many, many, many players who deserve to be recognized for what they do for their teams nightly, on teams/games I don't get to - with your assistance WE can make this happen - thanks, pfloyd

Landen Jarrell (Zane Trace) had 19 on 5 of 6 from 3 in 2.5 quarters tonight before leaving with an ankle injury. Landon Robinson (Zane Trace) picked up the slack with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists

Braden Schreck (Ironton) 25 pts/3 triples along with Shaun Terry (Ironton) 16 pts/1 trey led the Tigers in a big OVC win at home over Fairland Tuesday night 65-60 ...
Brody Buchanan (Fairland) 21 pts/2 triples vs Ironton Tuesday night had the Dragons in a position to get a road W even with 2 starters sidelined (Marcum fouled out with 4:59 on the clock down 47-50 and Will Davis leaving with an ankle injury/not able to return (3:40 trailing 52-54 at the time of the injury) ...

... yep, I totally agree BBN - he has great instincts for the game to go with being very athletic with and without the ball - he will be fun to watch the next 3+ years ... if he grows anymore, getting to a 6-5/6-6 ish height to go with his length - let's just say he will be very very good ...

Layne and Terry are the 2 best basketball players on this Ironton team. Neither get enough looks in my opinion due to stat chasing and selfish play. Once Ironton starts playing as a team they will be very difficult to contend with in the area (this side of the bridge).
