I would think that Hiland will come out of this, but Monroe Central is absolutely drilling teams. The schedule hasn’t been the toughest, but their results are very impressive so far.

The Hawks are finally back to full strength, heading into January and February,with a very demanding non-league schedule and a very tough league schedule and we are on the road for the most part of the remaining games as of this Friday at home against very good Indian Valley team that is 8-1,we have had 7 home games and just 2 away games, so that leaves us with just 4 games left at home,if this doesn't get you ready for the tournaments, down the stretch

Only thing that might hurt Monroe Central so far, is that they have only played one team with a winning record,that one team is Bridgeport, which has not played a very good schedule,it be interesting see them against Martins Ferry twice and they got River twice yet

... my money's on Hiland in the Convo again - I know THAT'S going out on a limb LOL ... they were a "younger version " of their usual selves at the Convo last year, they will be back with the same group and a year older this go around ... almost can put it in with the "Only 2 things you have to do in life - die and pay taxes" - having Hiland get to the Convo would be the 3rd thing imo ...

I guess we will see how we matchup with Monroe Central in the district finials, sounds like South Webster could be a hand full in the regional finals, Hiland has got a really tuff non-league schedule coming up, with state rank Wayne Trace in d3 and also state rank Ottawa Glandorf and I think no2 rank in d3, and unbeaten Linsly Academy and a possible meeting with state rank Malvern in the IVC Showcase depending on how we finish in the South Division

IVCHAWKS - are any of the Hiland games live-streamed ? I’ve never tried to find their games until the post season for obvious reasons as I only follow the 72 SE district teams to rank them weekly for all divisions combined … is there a link for Hiland games? I would to see the Hiland vs Linsly matchup … I’ve seem Linsly twice - once vs Warren (D2) and vs Fairland (D3) …

There is, it's WKLM Facebook live, but Hiland won't let them do live broadcast at home games only, but you can see them on away games, but unfortunately the Linsly Academy is a home game,it's scheduled for Saturday Feb 3

I'll try to post them every Sunday evening from here on out ,till the tournament draw, for d3 and d4,I have all the schedule's and scores for East District in d3 and d4,use to do d2 also getting lazy in my old age lol
Trying to do over 50 some schedules can be a pain in the behind anymore,with the way newspapers, don't cover highschool sports very good

I tried using Maxpreps but they were not always up to date. I think the local newspapers covering the high schools is pretty much a thing of the past. It does take a minute to keep up with it all. You are appreciated!
