There’s a top 8 team that is guaranteed to not be at the Convo (well, will be on Sunday) as WCH and Unioto will be matched up in the sectional finals IF they both win their semis.

Unioto’s won 11 straight, but are not playing the most difficult opponents as the season closes. Sheridan will certainly be formidable.

Hard to believe that the regular season is now in it's last full week - Week #11 ... the Final Elite 8 is posted next weekend - no post season games counting in the rankings as I believe there are "play in" games starting next Saturday ... the Road to the Convo & Beyond begins! Still league 'ships up for grabs - outright or shared to be determined this coming week ... the OVC, SOC3, TSL showing that they are truly the best leagues in SEO in the 2023-24 campaign - Will this translate into post season success? will the district play at the Convo be "epic" with matchups of teams who clashed in the regular season? rubber matches? or will teams in leagues that weren't viewed as strong as others show that "taking care of bidness" was all they could do, the non-conference was what hand they were dealt ... the post season - a special time Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... I have to say getting a team out of the Convo regionals and making an appearance in Dayton at "the Show" IS the most exciting conclusion to a season ... when I followed Waverly to the Final Four , got to be on press row covering their game for SEOPs - special, sharing the time with the Waverly faithful - pfloyd will never forget that opportunity ... THIS POST SEASON!!! Time to get another TEAM or more out of the Convo!!!

I know he had a shoulder issue he was dealing with earlier in the week last week ... any injury report as the Warriors go to Parkersburg to get payback from the Big Red after the loss on a neutral court - Marietta College over Christmas break - ? a road week for WHS! never easy to win at Logan (Logan Senior Night) , then finish at D2 foe FU to closeout the regular season ...

I’m confused why is Ironton 11 on ohsaa MaxPreps rpi thing but is 10 in the brackets
