Who is “HIM” in the Week that IS? 2/12- 2/17/24

Post by pfloyd »

Trying to give props to all of the players across the SE District who had excellent performances each game night - win or lose! .... offensive or defensive performances! ... starters or off the bench! - players who had outstanding contributions to the TEAM effort ... I only get to 1 game per night - those players get recognized in my writeups BUT there are many, many, many players who deserve to be recognized for what they do for their teams nightly, on teams/games I don't get to - with your assistance WE can make this happen - thanks, pfloyd

Please post exceptional individual performer names/with school name & stat lines from the Week that IS (Monday 2/12 -Saturday 2/17) :

Julian Stadelman (Warren) 26 pts in leading Coach Maddox’s Warriors to a 75-47 road win over one of those foreign teams the Parkersburg Big Reds … the win gets payback for the PHS come from behind W over Warren at MC in December…

Trent Taylor (Warren) 11pts vs Parkersburg in helping the WHS winning cause 75-47 … the 6-5 big man for Warren now stands at 980 pts in his hoops career at Warren … 20 pts with 2 regular season games this week - @ Fairfield Union Thursday night , @ Logan Friday night … I’m thinking another Warren milestone will be reached at Jim’s Gym in Logan - Coach Maddox picked up wins 200 & 400 vs Logan … will Trent Taylor join the 1000 pt elites Friday night at LHS? We will be in the stands at both FU & LHS to watch it happen …

Alex Kendall, 34 points in a Marietta road win at Columbus Westland. Was the key this night on both ends of the court. Likely 15 rebounds or so and guarded the Cougar’s best player in the decisive 4th quarter.
