I would be very surprised if Burg beats Eastern by more than 10, if they do then Eastern didn't play hard or turned the ball over a lot. If they avoid those two things and shoot half way decent it will be close. I think this being Burg's first game favors Eastern as well.

I like the Eagles in this one. Their downfall is more than half the team was playing football just 2.5 weeks ago, so shifting to basketball could take some time. They will synch up with a few more weeks under the belts.

Both teams played football deep in to the postseason. No love lost there on either side.
I believe Eastern will be 15-7 this year and have a strong season. Especially if they run through their best player (Tucker Leist). However, Burg wins this one by 20+.

Scoring going to be an issue for Burg this year without Lattimore. Still thought they would win this one comfortably. Eastern going to be a handful in D6.*

Burg was incredibly vulnerable last year when DL was in foul trouble. 20 pts was bold.

I put them on a separate thread Watchinghoops ... it was an excellent game ... Eastern gets after it on both ends ... I like the Eagles of Coach Leist this season ...

I missed heavily on that one. Great job by the Eagles to go in to Burg and have a 10 point lead late in the game. Look out for those guys
