i like west in this one just not by as many as some might think … simply because easterns gym is horrid and hard to play at

after seeing how west is playing this year i have west 61-47

This will be a good matchup. Eastern dropped a tremendous loss to Webster on Saturday night, so hopefully the Eagles can clean up their game. Give me the Senators by 10. West is looking good this year and this will be a good matchup for both teams.

The game featured several ties and 13 lead changes and I think the biggest was Eastern up 22-13 early in the 2nd. Will Kegley pretty much got the Senators back into the game by himself, but Corbin Miller hit a 3 at the buzzer to make it a 1 point game

West turned it over a bunch in the 3rd after Kegley picked up his 3rd foul. Boston Webb and Tucker Leist were really good for the Eagles, but it was Declan Davis who scored the game winner with 49 seconds left.

Webb blocked Kegley late, but the Senators got another shot but it rimmed out with about 6 seconds to play and due to having fouls to give, the Senators couldn’t foul enough to get the ball back before the final horn.

West: Kegley 23
Eastern: Webb 19, Leist 15

I’ll have a much more in depth story on sosaohio.com, probably sometime tomorrow afternoon. But, I liked what I saw out of both teams. Just too many turnovers in that 3rd from West when Eastern was cold. Thought both teams had some nice pieces and important role players who stepped up. Both should win a nice share of games this season.

not a good drive for most schools , very boring and plain , crooked rims , and a good eagles crowd makes for a tuff place to play at on the road

Rims are not crooked but how does a good crowd make a place harried? Maybe, tough to play in but not horrid.

Eastern is right off 32 East. Not hard at all. You have worse schools.
