Wheelersburg isn’t D7 are they?
Also I believe my Senators should be getting some love in D6. Don’t like the loss at Rock Hill but the Eastern Pike game could have went either way. Solid win for our guys against Nelsonville last Saturday and I’m excited to see them start conference play this Friday at Waverly

Correct... Wheelersburg is not D7 they're in D5, and I agree West should be close to the top 5 in D6.

Couple of glaring errors corrected. Peake No. 2 in DV. Wheelersburg moved to DV. Not there yet on Portsmouth West but I'll review my notes and consider. Appreciate the commentary.

Just a bad omission. They were on my hand-written list. Have them at No. 2.

No problem it is easy to do when you look at so many different teams and records.

Tough 2025 schedule, and I'd add Warren and John Glenn to that list.

IMO - Trace would handle both Steubenville and Marietta…unless Trace got into foul trouble they are too big and too athletic for both teams.

You might be right about that -- how many times have you seen each of those three teams?

Steubenville guard play might be the best in the entire East and Southeast region. Maybe Miami Trace’s 3-2 zone (resembles a 1-2-2 at times) can slow them down but doubtful. I don’t see Trace as “too athletic” for any of the other top teams — they are very good but not deserving of number one as of today.

@Hookshot Miami Trace all of their games…Steubenville & Marietta YT highlights.
@SouthEast Hoops Fan you might be right, Trace just has 5 starters that are pretty athletic….they can play just about every position and I might be a tad bit bias fan…lol

I can’t believe NO ONE mentions Tri Valley as one of the, if not, the favorite in D-3. They are a load and well coached.

Tri Valley is very good and very well-coached. Who is denying that? If they win their next two games I'd say they have a chance to rise two or three spots further in D-III. Based on records, film and schedules, I'm not sure they can make a case for being No. 1 or 2 -- yet. But it would not shock me to see them in the district final or even district champions eventually.

Because of their schedule, they’ll never have the record of 3-4 teams. Don’t know much about Miami trace, but they’re better then those other teams.

I’ve seen all of these teams multiple times. Miami Trace (who I might rate No. 1) appears stronger than Tri Valley to me, as does Marietta and Steubenville for different reasons. This can change over the course of the season of course. Question: Has Tri Valley had some injuries or sicknesses that has affected their play in any of their nine games?

Tri Valley just lost 71-70 at D1 central district power Hilliard Bradley. Their other loss is to a loaded St Francis Desales. They play Upper Arlington this weekend. Unless Maysville has one of their out of this universe shooting nights nobody in the MVL is beating this team and nobody in SEO plays near that schedule. They’re athletic, big and can shoot it.
