bc it’s Vinton county and they the only fans crazier than the west side

Gallia over Waverly 62-59 in OT.
Gallia missed the inside shot but got the rebound and hit the three with :01 to play to win it.

Waverly was down 5 or 6 with just a few seconds remaining in OT and tied it at 59 with :11 to play.

Smurray, I really thought higher of your Tigers this year. Still a year away from being “back” ? On paper they have the size and in person they look the part. Hopefully this group can get the program back to where it was just a few years ago.

Some definite rust on teams getting out of their school days routine…every team deals with it but I’ve watched some teams since Christmas really not look like themselves…credit to those that have.

Not sure what that sentence was BUT yes. No reason to get kicked out of a blowout. VC couldn’t hit ANYTHING in the first half. Made a game of it in the 3rd but it was a little too late at that point. Jackson is a solid team. I get the rivalry but unless it’s a tight ballgame, I don’t see anyone getting that upset to get tossed.

VC hasn’t lost by 40 in over 30 years. You bet I’m upset about that loss to Portsmouth. BUT, their fans weren’t upset when leaving McArthur. We need to get back to that level of hugging our opponents fans. I really hate the jeeps were hurt after leaving VC. We'll send some safe spaces for you
if you come back.
