This is the official seeding.

Minford with a "cake walk" to regionals in this particular bracket. ZT wouldn't come within 25 points of Minford. Ironton would probably hang around for about a half or so.pfloyd wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 3:24 pm Good stuff has always TSYS !!! a Fairland vs Chesapeake district final looming ... 3 matchup of the season AND we haven't had the 1st one yet !!! LOL ... Minford to the district finals with either Ironton/Zane Trace as the team standing in their way to a regional berth ... big week coming up all around the SE district to determine the seeding ...
Not sure Minford has ever had a "cake walk" in any past tournaments. They find a way to lose a game they shouldn't lose. Ironton will play them tough if they see each other.ZTPMM88 wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 1:04 amMinford with a "cake walk" to regionals in this particular bracket. This year's squad SHOULDN'T have any troubles. It would be a colossal disappointment if the Falcons don't make it into regionals...much less the regional finalsbaseball16 wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:07 amNot sure Minford has ever had a "cake walk" in any past tournaments. I added D-VI & D-VII
For central district, those aren't seeds. Those are just bracket locations. For other districts, they aren't pre-place on the bracket based on seeding, the 1 seed gets 1st choice of where they want to be placed on the bracket, 2 seed next, etc.JeepNation26 wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 2:08 pm This may not be the place to post this but can someone explain why the bracket seeding is different for the east and central districts than it is for the southeast district? Why would a #1 seed start out playing the #2 seed? Is this a misprint when they did the brackets or is it always done this way? Just curious...

2025 CDAB TOURNAMENT SEEDING
Seeding: MaxPrep RPI will be used to determine the seed of each participating school. Coaches are to complete the required information after each regular season game in MaxPreps. Coaches will not seed other schools, therefore there will be no seed voting by coaches. However, coaches will continue to select their line on the tournament bracket at the mandatory coaches meeting on Sunday, February 9, 2025. See information below.
Ok I gotcha, but why isn't done the same way across all districts?Tri-StateYouthSports wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:00 pmFor central district, those aren't seeds. Those are just bracket locations. lol.... good question. It appears that the following Districts choose to allow teams to pick their location on the bracket in the order of their RPI seeding.JeepNation26 wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:04 pm

Appreciate the info, one would just think that it would be done the same way across the board. ThanksTri-StateYouthSports wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2025 3:17 pmlol.... good question. • East, Central, Southwest & Northeast.
I'm not sure how the Northwest District does it. I couldn't find their procedures or blank brackets.
Did they get rid of the sectional semis and sectional finalsTri-StateYouthSports wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 12:45 pm If no location is shown on the bracket, then the team with the higher seed will host.
This is NOT the official seeding. This is me using the current OHSAA RPI for theoretical seeding.
Mock seeding updated 1/05/25 10a with the current OHSAA RPI. To the left of the seeding indicates the change from the previous RPI seeding.
