Hard game to watch. MT just does enough it seems to win every game. Except for obvious call the other way, MT major advantage with this officiating crew, sorry to say.

Jackson not good enough with the ball down the stretch. Costly turnovers. Still a chance with 1:04 left and down 1

Interesting game to watch.
I unfortunately think that is one of the worst officiated games I’ve seen in some time.
Jackson missed too many good looks from outside. And transparently, it would be difficult for anyone to finish at the bucket the way it was called today.

MT’s seniors were big IMO. They made small plays at very critical times.

It was Jackson’s to lose with 2 mins to go, but their stall game just never seems to work in their favor.

Kudos to MT on a tough win.

MT scores with two seconds left to win. They’ve won 3 of their last 5 games by 2 points. That’s all they seem to know what to do is win. 16-0.

Gage Bowers with big shot to win it…..MT was battling Jackson and refs this game….Adam gets hammered everytime he touches the ball but since he is bigger than everyone never gets the call…..with that said if Jackson’s coach just let his kids play at the end they pull off the upset…with two minutes left its like he went into prevent offense….just run your offense…run your pick and roll, dont just hold the ball.

MT’s big advantage with the officiating was allowing the Panthers big post player to shove defenders away (displacement) with and without the ball. Not sure if some officials actually know the rule or just don’t like to call it.

Most of the calls went MT’s way, especially in the post.

Time-Out -- I'll officiate this argument:
**If a post player uses his body versus a defender who has legal guarding position and displaces (moves) the defender with his body and gains advantage, that is an offensive foul. Whether the hands are used in this circumstance is irrelevant.

First, you can post up all you want, but you cannot use your body to displace a defender who has legal guarding position. Second, funny you think I've not played. Want to compare careers? I've played, coached and scouted plenty.

I’ve been to I think 5 of the Jackson at MT matchups…..I’ve never seen one that wasn’t ridiculously physical in the lane and nothing called.

You know how it’s going to be

I must've watched a different game. At one point Jackson had the foul advantge heavily IN THEIR FAVOR (I'd have to go back and watch it again and actually count).

That said, the officials didn't favor MT. Guthrie got hammered all game long and hardly any calls. He usually gets fouled at least 3 times before they'll blow the whistle in his favor (same happened today). Just because he's 6'7" and 300 lbs, it's still a foul. Just because he doesn't flop, it's still a foul. You'd get tired of constantly being hammered all game too. Reaching, slapping, grabbing, holding....no calls.

This was a good game between two really good, well coached teams; a heavyweight fight from the top two teams in the league. To say MT won because of the refs has to be a joke.

Hopefully they’re still undefeated going into that game.

He’d argue with his own shadow if it told him it was sunny outside.
