Just giving a shout out to great people. Whiteoak had a big benefit dinner and auction at tonight’s games and they went above and beyond. Very generous and very appreciated.

Thank You

Indeed for a good cause . Both of these schools are very supportive of each other. The league as a whole always support each other. Prayers for all.

... the generosity of the folks in Southern/Southeastern Ohio is the best ... schools in our basketball area ARE the lifeblood of the communities ... when I went to Western Pike a couple of weeks ago, I talked to Mr. Brewster the Superintendent of the Western School District ... the gym was packed, he told me that he was making a couple of announcements at halftime that were community related , told me that announcing it at the game was the best way to get information out to the community (as we looked around the gym at the largest crowd for a Tuesday night game they had ever had) ... schools working hand in hand with the communities for the betterment of both ... Coach Arey, the Peebles schools and all of the SHAC schools are outstanding in their philanthropic efforts for the schools, for the communities and for individuals or organizations within the communities ... I walk into the small school gyms, I see the pride on the walls - the wall to wall posters supporting teams, players, groups ... when talking to the ADs, coaches, principals, administration, family members of players, fans in the stands - they are all so proud of what they have, what the schools are trying to accomplish ... it gives me chills just typing this - as I can see in my mind the people that I have come in contact with, and recall the feelings of pride I GOT from talking to and listening to them expound on their kids, their school, their community ... makes me proud to be a part of the Southern, Southeastern Ohio sports community ...
