First round of the tournament. Northwest is not a usual opponent, so I am just going off some streaming clips and stats from other posts. I know they graduated two 1000 point scorers from a really good team last year. The Warriors are riding a 9 game win streak that included wins over the softer part of their schedule, but also over a good D3 Batavia team, and a good Cincinnati Country Day squad on the road. It is win or go home time. Should be a good one.

I like Eastern Brown in this game by 15 ish. Good team. SHOULD set up a good matchup between them and Chesapeake in the district semi-final.

Also, does anyone have a tally of career points for Grady Barber?

Really big/strong team. Definitely what stuck out to me when they came to Oak Hill. That being said I think EB is the better team.

Not sure about Grady Barber total points. I would guess approaching 800 with senior year left to go. I will check on this.

Prior to their game with Northwest Friday, Barber has 680 career points.

Freshman Yr: 120pts
Sophomore Yr: 285pts
Junior Yr: 275pts and counting

Sorry for lack of updates. My phone decided to die. Eastern over Northwest 65-35. It was a close game until Eastern outscored the Mohawks 24-6 in the 3rd quarter. Grady Barber had an absolute ludicrous 1 minute of basketball ( unofficial) 8 points, and 2 or 3 steals, and an assist. ( i need to rewatch for exact stats). He was pumped and en fuego. Warriors move on to face Chesapeake at Waverly.
