... the Shermans of Coach Combs successfully avenged last seasons' post season 57-58 loss to the Logan Elm Braves... in last years contest LE was led by Nemiah Waugh's 26 points , Waugh put up the same 26 pt number last night but was missing support as a year ago off the bench LE tallied 19 pts while last night 0 pts from the LE reserves .. for the winning Unioto Shermans , the score ended closer than the game play as the U kept an 8-12 point lead throughout the contest leading 43-31 entering the 4th period of action, Waugh put up 15 points in the final frame to draw LE close down the stretch but 7/8 shooting from the FT line by SVC POY Blake Fitch and Caden Cutright , to go with timely defensive efforts kept the game out of reach ... the U moves on to take on Fairfield Union in a District Semi-final at Southeastern High School on 2/25 @ 8:30p ...

Waugh had an outstanding career for the Braves and I’m sure if he’s going to play after high school, but I think he would make a coach very happy.

You mentioned the bench production from LE, Unioto only got 6 points off of the bench, but that made the difference with the starters being knotted at 59 between the two teams.

Now, Unioto takes on a completely different team in Fairfield Union on Tuesday.
