I will not call them out, YET! That was the single WORSE officiating I have ever seen at a district basketball game. They called 1 ONE foul in the first half.

The officials did fine. It is hard to officiate a game when neither team is very good. That might be the worst officiating you've seen at a district game, but is likely also the worst basketball game you've seen.

I thought the refs were consistent all night. It’s tournament basketball and they let the players play. Green did not adjust to the officiating in the 1st half but played more physical and adjusted in the 2nd half unfortunately it was too late. I would have like to of saw Green run more sets for Knapp to get him open for easy looks but he basically just worked off ball screens. Give him an opportunity to get hot, don’t just post him up at the high post and say here you go score. Bradford was man to man on him all night and what he job he did. Green had open looks in the 1st half but shots were not falling, the same looks went down in the 2nd half but once again your best player only scored 3 points which was a forced fade away 3.

That's a joke right? Notre Dame has proven to be one of the best small schools program's in this district. Over the past 5 seasons or so they have put together a nice resume. Green didn't strike me as team that wasn't very good either.

I don't think I have ever witnessed a game with a combined 3 foul calls through 3 quarters. No way with high school kids. If you let the game look like a rugby match it will look rough. Clean shots were hard to come by because of all the contact the officials allowed. For my money, this game had the better 2 teams in it than the game that followed. Everyone in this bracket wanted a shot at Southern. A very weak 3 seed. The TVC was terribly down this year.

Southern is a case study on why we need bracket placement in this area. Is there anyone on the planet that really thinks Southern is better than Fairfield, Western, Manchester, or even Green? As a matter of fact I think I’d take Whiteoak over the Tornadoes.
