We are getting near that time when the Ohio Mr Basketball Finalists comes out and I would like to hear who you guys have on your radar. I think my top one would be Quinn Kwasniak from Cornerstone Christian. Who else is on your guys list?

I would have to agree. Without a thorough analysis of all the finalist’s once they are released, I would assume anyone who breaks Diebler’s OHSAA boys scoring record would be the front runner.

Good list. Generally speaking, this award like Mr. Football usually goes to a player from a larger school. That’s the one thing Kwasniak has working against him.

Exactly D7 player would be hard to pull off
Plus he is going against players who are committed to the Buckeyes not to mention bigger basketball schools than Army

My vote would be for Devin Brown from Olentangy Orange.

Marcus Johnson is the likely winner. Being a future Buckeye has been a big plus for voters of this award in the past.
