If Eastern comes in with that same defensive intensity and grabs much needed rebounds. They will have a shot.

Eastern will need a big game from Tucker Leist to stay in this game. He is capable of that. I think Eastern's biggest challenge will be keeping Monroe Central off the offensive glass. Several very good athletes and rebounders for Monroe Central. Eastern has no real size inside.
For Monroe Central keys will be eliminating the careless turnovers and keeping Tucker Howell and Chance Allen out of foul trouble. I like Monroe Central to prevail. Monroe Central's defense has probably been underrated by me all year. They seemed to have gained another level of intensity on D in the post season. Only giving up on average of 41 points in the tournament games.
Only one common opponent on both schedules. Eastern beat Wheelersburg by 5 points. Monroe Central beat them by 19.
For Monroe Central keys will be eliminating the careless turnovers and keeping Tucker Howell and Chance Allen out of foul trouble. I like Monroe Central to prevail. It is being played at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus.

Eastern was Burgs first game of the year didn't play well at all still had their football legs and then Burg played awful against Monroe Central that game was also close to the beginning of the year if Burg played either of these teams right now I believe it would be a toss up and I truly believe Burg would be favored against Eastern but all this doesn't matter anymore Burg is done playing so good luck to Eastern make the SOC proudskyvue wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 1:05 pm Eastern will need a big game from Tucker Leist to stay in this game. I got MC by 15 or more. That big boy for Beaver is really going to have a hard time guarding anyone for Monroe. Monroe just beat Hiland by 19. Monroe has played a way tougher schedule and it will prepare them well in this one.

This going to be a tough game for the Eagles hopefully they can pick up the dub here and make some history. Eastern is going to have to play harder than they ever had. Eastern 49-46

I hope that the Eagles can pull this one off, but they almost have to play a perfect game. Give me Monroe Central 65-51. Monroe Central is also used to being in these types of moments unlike the Eagles. Best of luck to the Eagles though. Prove me wrong!

I've read MC hasn't shot less than 65% in any of its tournament games. Definitely finding great shots.

Love how this community follows their teams. It’s packed in here. Woodsfield, Lewisville, Graysville, Bethel etc… some of the best high school sports fans around.
