Zane Trace Sports History, Records and More

Please reply here with Sports History and I will update the first post with all findings.

This is for all Sports

Football
Team Record-- Need Year, Record, Head Coach,Conference Finish, starting QB, Key Players that year, anyone move on to play college sports
Stats- All team leading Rusher, Passer, Tackles, Sacks ect for year and overall

Basketball
Records-- Need Year, Record, Head Coach, Key Players that year, anyone move on to play college sports
Stats- All time leading stats for year and overall

Baseball

1 Regional title/State Final 4 (2001)

MOST WINS: Ron Allen 392-184 (20 years) Allen has 439 wins overall. (24 years)

BASKETBALL: 294-183 (62%)
HEAD COACH: Gary Kellough, Bryan Alley, Allen Koker, Mike Patrick
4 SVC titles
2 District titles (2019, 2020) *First District titles since 1970.

MOST WINS: Gary Kellough 341-192 (24 years) Kellough has 498 wins overall. (35 years)

FOOTBALL: 115-104 (53%)
HEAD COACH: Darron Myers, Duane Hall, Gary Peters, Don Kunz
8 SVC titles
2-7 Playoffs
1 Regional Runner-up (2015)

MOST WINS: Gary Peters 45-47 (9 years)
Hall was 38-8 in four years.

Since the school started in the mid 60's until 1999 there was some success in these sports:
Baseball went to the (Class A) Final Four in 1970. Also, won five (Class A) District titles between 1967-1983. Regional runner-up (1967, 1979)
Basketball also went to the (Class A) Final Four in 1970. They were also Regional Runner-up in 1969.
Football had little success until the last 20 years. No playoffs and only a few league titles.

In the 60s I can remember when my family would go to a reunion, we always took 180 and I remember this school being built. It has come a long way. Over the years I have attended several sport events there. Has always been a nice community.
