Re: Unioto Sports History, Records and More
Do not have records of teams but the 1992 finished as State Runners-up. Unioto defeated Bedford Chanel in Semi Finals and lost to Wayne Trace in the State Championship game.
Also 1982 was the 1st Unioto boys team to play in a District Championship game. The Shermans lost to Racine Southern 68-64 at Chillicothe HS. Unioto had beaten Trimble in the District Semi-Finals. Racine Southern went on to lose in the State Championship game and finish as State Runners-up.

The 90-91 team was the one who reached the State Championship game, they finished 23-4. Played the first quarter against Wayne Trace with a 28.5 ball and WT got out to an 18-4 lead and never looked back. Interesting that Unioto also did not have cheerleaders that game, because they were in Florida winning a National Championship of their own!
I'll post full season by season records this weekend.
