I don't think it matters that much this year because Warren is so good ... but it could be a small obstacle somewhere down the line: with Marietta bolting to the ECOL - and Gallia being moved to the other sectional - Warren is now the lone standing team from the SEOAL at the Logan sectional ... a sectional that was once dominated by the SEOAL (Athens, Warren, Marietta, Gallia) ... they pretty much owned the room in terms of voting.

The TVC will have the largest representation this year. (Athens, Vinton County and Meigs).

This is why the SEO District needs to go away from the bracket seeding and get with the rest of the state. The coaches need to remember why they are there. I have seen this for the past 15 yrs and it is criminal sometimes what goes on.

Totally agree! OSHAA shouldn't allow even the appearance of wrong doing. ANYTIME a team doesn't get the seed they've earned it's just wrong.

Belpre and Meigs for sure, redsoxs300.

The Marauders could end up as the 2nd best team in the Ohio Division this year. I know VC has traditionally been the other 'big dog' in the Ohio, but Sean Caudill tore his ACL last Friday playing football, which may hurt the young Vikes this year. Meigs however has some nice players, including kalieb Sheets and Ty Phelps.

Belpre is thought by some (including WarriorBlue) to win the TVC-Hocking this year - they should be off the end table rather quickly, IMO.

I know about Belpre because I coached the soph & juniors as youngsters. Coached Therriut in AAU this past spring and summer. They have a knowledgeable coach and the group as a whole works hard. That combined with talent will indeed get the Eagles off the "End of the Table".

Meigs is coming to a scrimmage here in the Land of the Purple - looking forward to a "preview" of Sheets & Co. prior to the opening Tip Off Nov 29th ... 2 weeks away!!! we'be lacing 'em up soon - Nov 1st is right around that next corner ...
