Not to say their ranking is not deserved, considering who they have beaten, but Western Pike' s record is actually 4-3. Wins against Notre Dame, Symmes Valley, Clay and Green. Loses to New Boston, Eastern and Portsmouth. And Merry Christmas Pfloyd and thank you for doing what you do.

There is not a single team in the Hocking this year that could beat Athens, yet you have 4 ranked above them. Lol

Nelsonville-york's win over previously undefeated Trimble can kinda give you a glimpse of the disparity between Ohio and hocking this season.

I wouldn’t be so confident in a team that has 6 losses before Santa arrives

It's not so much my confidence in a 6-loss team as it is my 'lack of confidence' in the small school Hocking Division.

... thanks !!! , I had Symmes Valley with the "W" over Western on the Big Board ... it is now corrected for Western and will be corrected for Symmes Valley as well ...

Floyd ... You have (4-2) Waterford ranked above (5-1) Miller ... Falcons beat Wildcats by 10 already in head-to-head match-up.
Floyd ... You have (5-3) Southern ranked above (4-1) Trimble ... Tomcats beat Tornadoes by 5 already in head-to-head match-up.

All these years and I STILL have to correct you on TVC rankings ... SMH

lol

... Athens COULD BE ranked lower with the 6 losses BUT I SEE their potential with the BIGS getting an opportunity to be the focal point of that team ... I don't disagree with Athens being ABLE to beat the small division schools but at some point the committee has to say "show me the W's" ... Athens plays Jackson Dec 29th, the VC's (2 times in Jan 9/23), Logan's Jan 6, Alexander's (Feb 16) of the SEO world still ... more than enough time to move UP the rankings again with W's over teams ranked above them currently ...

I wasn't saying Athens should be higher, just above the smaller schools. Usually year in and year out I'm a big proponent of 'the little guy', you know that ... Lol ... But this year I'm a little worried about not only the Hocking division, but DIV overall in the district. A lot of great players graduated from some really good teams the last two years.

No love for my Senators of Portsmouth West? Lol. I know they are 3-4 but for the most part any night they step onto the court the other team is going to have to play. The Senators are not putting up as many 3s as in years past which makes for a better brand of basketball. They are looking for more high percentage shots.

Thanks for all the work you do with your rankings. I enjoy reading it every week!

Southern actually is 5-2 not 5-3. They have two tough games this week facing a very good undefeated Ravenswoid team on Wednesday and traveling to Nelsonville in Friday. Thanks for the rankings!

love your rankings but ports west deserves more love and Piketon being in the top 8 isnt even close. A 1 man team cant contend against the good teams long term.

Actually, it's usually one man that makes a team go. Coaches say it all the time. They have a lot of role players that understand their roles."Don't Hate" Appreciate!
