12/23 ... (1) too much purple at Unioto ... and (2) I thought we were packing up the Pfloyd tour bus and heading to Florida????

I figure the games start on the 27th, so we need at least 3 days of lounging by the pool and hitting up some of Orlando's best golf courses ... and yes, Mrs. Floyd and Schooner are welcome to tag along!

The Teletubby was awesome!

I swear it was a tribute to the infamous Pfloyd, it was probably the closest thing they had to a purple hippo ... lol

Not sure when it happened, but the southeast district tournament at the Convo has turned into a local version of Mardi Gras ...

... based on the reports from the Bannon Park Basketball Classic in P'town ... looks like trojandave's Portsmouth Trojans won the High School division beating out the likes of Marietta, Warren, Northridge (Dayton), Piketon, Belpre to be crowned champions today in P'town ... congratulations to the Trojans of Coach Collins on the top finish vs some quality teams ... having beat out SEOAL consensus #1 Warren for the top prize has to be a boost for the young PHS squad going into 2013-14 campaign come December of this year ...

I think Portsmouth did the same last year - they beat Athens I know that.

I'll disagree, you can never have too much purple! I'm personally hoping for a slight Northwestern touch on the new floor to add even more purple. Not sure if the admins or Coach Hoops would go for that though.

Coach - thank you ... if there is anything that I have learned from ALL of the quality coaches such as yourself it is "every time you hit the floor, give it ALL you have for the time you are on the floor ..." I've been giving it all I have for the last 3+ years battling cancer , giving ALL I have is ALL I know, it's how I live my life in all things I do ... with the support of great individuals as yourself I WILL LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FLOOR, I won't stop battling until the game clock runs out ... thanks again Coach Lisath for ALL you have given to the student athletes you have contacted/tutored/mentored/taught/coached ... the time you have given to all of us "cheap seat" guys as well - I wish you the best in all you do my friend , it's been my pleasure to follow you and your TEAMS here in Southern/Southeastern Ohio ... I will continue to do what I do here on SEOPs - I know you won't be a stranger ... YOU are ALWAYS welcome to give your own 2 cents worth ...

Wahama, with 6-foot-5 point/forward Hunter Bradley, probably should be in the 'wannabe' section ... just sayin.

... 93dog! Wahama doesn't even start playing roundball until like January do they? ... the committee has yet to receive a copy of the Wahama TEAM passport which may be stuck in aisle #5 PhotoShop at Walmart - just sayin'

You should Google POMEROY WAL-MART Floyd ... you'll find the address for the "POMEROY OHIO" Wal-Mart is 320 Mallard lane, Mason WV 25260 ... lol ... On the same piece of land sits Wahama High School, right behind the store.

Pomeroy, OHIO annexed the land right across the bridge, and in doing so, also annexed Wahama high school.

no 'passport' is needed buddy ... all they need to do is present to the all-mighty (a.k.a. Pfloyd) their "league affiliation pass" (or their TVC Hocking football championship trophy will suffice I'm sure.)

I think I can decide this...as a FedEx employee of the Chillicothe terminal, we deliver to nearly all of SE Ohio, including all of Pomeroy. But, the "Pomeroy Walmart" is not in our delivery zone...since it isn't in the state of Ohio. So based on FedEx law, Wahama should be excluded from the rankings.

I believe the 'schedule clause' overrides any 'shady, FedEx law', Floyd ... lol ... The WHITE FALCONS played 22 games last year ... 18 were vs Ohio schools - which is close to 82% ... well over the mandated 75% that is stated in the official Pfloyd's Elite 8 ranking rule book.

I've been told the folks in Mason wait anxiously for the purple hippo to cross the river and watch one of their games ... what game/date should I tell them your coming, Floyd?

The purple lights over the Pomeroy bridge will be shinning brighter than ever, I promise.
