Flipping through the channels yesterday I caught a terrific game Floyd - and no it wasn't one of those blow-out bowl games. Channel 15 was playing an OLD SCHOOL basketball match-up between Nelsonville-York and Meigs ... The Buckeyes sparked by a skinny version of Jay Kline, who scored 30 points, knocked off the Mike Chauncey led Marauders 64-62 in overtime.

Love watching those old replays and seeing our area coaches play back in the day ... coach Kline was tough! Mid ranger jumper, could drive to the hoop, handle the rock and was a dead eye from the charity stripe. 30 points with NO 3-POINT line? That was a heckua performance.

... thanks football life , I saw where bman confirmed that the game between Circleville and Washington has been officially postponed until a later date ... not often you get a Thursday nighter between 2 quality teams, hate to see it ppd was looking forward to seeing this one, would have had many scouting this one tonight as well - but not happening ... should be better tomorrow BUT we have Wind Chill Advisories after the snow rolls thru tonight, schools may STILL be closed tomorrow ... we'll wait and see on that one ...
