Good stuff! #8 Logan with two tough challenges this upcoming week at the Newark Holiday Tournament. Wednesday against Newark (one of the top D1 teams in the state), and then on Thursday they will face either Cincinnati Elder or Olentangy.

Looks good. I was hoping Logan Elm would make it and Unioto to fall out.

Unioto takes on FU and Athens hosts Logan Elm both games Tuesday night ... going to be movement again next week ... LE plays Chillicothe on Friday as well ... statement games of all kinds !!!

Great to see the Purple Gang at #8 . Nice Christmas present. Look real good . Some tough matchup coming this week . You will go crazy bouncing from gym to gym . Unioto , FU and Logan Elm no matter what happens should still be there or close IMO. Logan presence in top 8 will be tested with their tough schedule .We'll get to see some SEO competition soon . I just watched the video of Fairland vs Huntington Prep Blue ... Fairland is the real deal especially if a team thinks they can "out-Fairland " the Dragons of Coach Speed - too much talent in that first 6 ... all can put a 20 spot on you IN A HALF ! Just watched Izaiah Howell drop 22 in the first half & Gunner Short add 20 of his own in the 3rd quarter alone ... lots of weapons , push the ball for 32 minutes , shoot the 3ball at anytime... control the boards ... the total package ... looking forward to seeing the Dragons in person at the Beasts of the Southeast on Jan 14th ...

Big test for the Dragon's this coming week playing Chaminade Julienne on Thursday and Sugarcreek Garaway on Friday. Get your big boy pants on.

Chaminade beat Lima central Catholic Fri night, so a great test for Fairland thur night. Absolutely worth the drive to Dover. Good luck Dragons!!

Through first 5 games the Dragons have had 4 different leading scorers, 22 times in 5 games a player has scored in double digits. Leading scorer has 79 points followed by 75,68,59,54 for the top five. I didn't include any names or numbers because this truly is a great team! Watch the players smile and congratulate each other throughout the game even when on the bench. Also like to point out they are very strong through top 7 players but 8 and 9 are great role players as well. Good luck to the Dragons this week with some tough matchups!

Looks like many of the top teams are putting records and rankings on the line as they use the non-conference time to find out where "TEAM" stands at this point in the season - great to see and great for the fans of high school hoops ...

Marietta picked up a game at Quicken Loans Area 1/2 vs Whitehall. I'm guessing that's why it was moved from 1/3 to 2/11
