... WE have some games this week which will impact the final Elite 8 Rankings ! ... I know it's on to the Survive & Advance Season BUT the regular season's final week has some big games for the top 8 teams :

Logan looks to "play" their way into their first ever Elite 8 ranking by beating either Hilliard Bradley on Tuesday night (2/14) or Warren on Friday (2/17) ... Vinton County travels to Miami Trace on Tuesday (2/14) for a major battle of elite 8 teams - someone WILL come away with an "L" ! ... Unioto entertains #8 Chillicothe at the U Tuesday night in a sold out/SRO Ross County battle of rivals - again an "L" will be handed out by nights end that effects the Elite 8 rankings ... Warren plays Minford at home Tuesday night 2/14 then travels to Logan to decide the final SEOAL champion - either Warren outright or a shared championship with the Purple & White ... Fairfield Union puts their own #3 ranking on the line as they travel to Bloom Carroll Friday night to decide the winner of the MSL Buckeye Division ... Chillicothe will put its Elite 8 ranking on the line their final game of the regular season by going on the road to take on Wilmington on Friday 2/17 ...

... ALL of these games will have an impact on the Final Pfloyd Elite 8 rankings for Southern/SouthEast Ohio top 8 teams ...

SOC1 Portsmouth Clay in the top 10

Thanks to Pfloyd for acknowledging the panthers. They have won 16 in a row,first place in the tough SOC 1 with chance to clinch the league title at home Friday. Friday also senior night for our 7 . The season also has seen 2 players King and Gilliland reach 1000 pt club and Hinze only 20 away. Not sure many classes with 3 to reach that mark.All this and today,the panthers receive the 1 seed in Northwest sectional and Pfloyd top 10 ranking. Good luck to our panthers.

Funny...I think if you go back to your 1st one this season I posted that Jackson should be #34....and if they lose to Gallia Tuesday....that's about where you'll have them to end regular season....but if they beat them (again) I expect top 28 (counting ties correctly lol)
