I get ya but it's a bit silly to have Chilly and Minford tied. I know you are giving big credit for them beating Portsmouth but are you giving the same credit for Minford destroying Chilly?

… everything was so easy until Chillicothe put a beatdown on Portsmouth … Chilli drops out of the top 8, Minford rightly moves into the Elite 8 … I suppose that Chillicothe at the "8b" position IS still at the number 9 slot as you say BUT in my little mind it does reward the Cavs for beating Portsmouth Saturday night … some BIG games this week to separate the powers that be on the Elite 8 list … we'll get those posted later this morning …

I fixed that RV spot ... When I completed or thought I completed the rankings River Valley and South Point were omitted ... I usually check to see that the head to heads are aligned better or I'll check to see if the loss was early in the season OR if the results were close score wise ... Anyway I think it's fixed now ...

Oaks have big game with alexander Saturday. Followed up with Valley and minford next week.

Athens at Circleville and Logan Elm at Chillicothe are two games that highlight Monday's slate.

For Athens fans - once off 33 take 22 West to Circleville and make a right at the first light once you reach town - Brookhill Lane, just past Ohio Christian University. That light is new and Brookhill takes you back to new high school. New high school sits just east of old high school site.

Portsmouth being number 3 is a surprise to me, an old Trojan. They just took an old fashioned
beating to a team that was destroyed the night before. I understand PHS was missing Oliver, but
getting beat that badly, on your boards, does not bode well for the Trojans. This game should
bring the Trojans hat size down to where it belongs! Teams are not going to roll over for
you, they will want to do what Chilli did! Some hard games coming and sure hope coach teaches
them what it feels like to run up and down the stairs, lol

Portsmouth hosts Ironton on Friday, Jan.2nd, then travels to #13 Chesapeake (6-0) on Tuesday, Jan.6, then to #18 Fairland (5-1) on Friday, Jan.9th, then will host #6 Warren (5-2) on Sat.Jan.10th. The Trojans will certainly be tested to keep pfloyd's #3 ranking in the next 2 weeks.
