8 of your top 20 are in the DIII sectional together at Waverly. There should be some great sectional finals this year.

... talk about building the hype for "a game" LOL ...
2. Warren (12-3)/Athens (12-3)
Warren will need to beat New Lexington Tuesday night/and then Fairfield Christian at the WarriorDome Saturday night to hold onto the #2 spot while Athens will be at Meigs Tuesday and entertain Vinton County on Friday night to keep pace ... can either Warren or Athens move into the #1 spot by Sunday prior to the Feb 3rd meeting ??? Logan Elm takes on 14-2 Zane Trace Tuesday night then travels to Fairfield Union for a MSL contest Friday 1/31 ...

I don't know Floyd, seems a little 'fishy' to me ... I'm curious what kind of 'back alley' deal went down to get Warren up into that No. 2 spot ...
You sure that wasn't WarriorBlue shoveling your sidewalk today???
I'm not gonna lie though, I'm kind of a Zane Trace Pioneer fan right now until Tuesday ... lol

Warren's wins over Bishop Hartley and Portsmouth have earned the Warriors the right to move up. As I said before, pfloyd could do a 1a, 1b and 1c.
Logan Elm can continue to add to its resume if it can beat Zane Trace on Tuesday.

No need for any back alley deals - Warren beats Hartley on a neutral court last Sunday, beats Portsmouth in P'town in front of trojandave last night - all adds up to a move UP the rankings ... I'll be going over to LE to see that one Tuesday if Mother Nature stops this nonsense long enough to let us get some games played ... should be a good one ...

I hope I'm wrong but I'll be surprised if any games are played on Tuesday with temperatures that cold.

Keep one eye on the Lancers Floyd ... they seem to be a different team with Jonathan Snyder in the line-up ... actually, they are 5-0 and have won 5 straight with him roaming the paint ... (8-2) in their last 10, 5-in-a-row? Probably worthy of at least a spot in the 25-34 range.
Sure hope my 'vote of confidence' to the Lancers isn't the 'kiss of death' like it has been for Southern this year ... lol ... I don't want to get on Howie's bad side.

Coach Caldwell's Lancers moved up 5 spots from last week - the committee has noted the 5 "W's" in a row ... Federal Hocking will be at Southern 1/28, then home for 2 games to end the week - South Gallia Friday and a BIg matchup with Coach Kline's Nelsonville York crew Saturday evening ...

Pfloyd, you may also want to put Washington CH at Circleville on the calendar for Wednesday in the beautiful new CHS gymnasium.

Court House is a suprising team to me. Watching them play LE at the tipoff i was thinking they were gonna stuggle this year. I know LE is good but they just looked way out of sink to me!
Kudos to C.H. !!!!

I dont know about y'all, but im not a fan of the new gyms being constructed. i realize its about the game on the court but theses things are not fan/spectator friendly. seating is smaller and more compacted. I personally prefer the balcony style gyms except teays valley which is too small.

The new high school is right past the old one on Clark Drive, so just take the same way you took to the CHS-LE game and you'll see the new high school. You'll go through a roundabout to get to the new HS and hang a left in it. Roundtown getting fancy. :122249
And I agree, I prefer the two deck gyms to the one deck that seem to be a little tighter. It's a nice gym, everyone is raving about how nice the floor feels to play on.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the old Mill St. Gymnasium at the pre-1966 high school, now the middle school. That place has character and has balconies on both sides, plus a balcony behind one basket. .

LetsGoPSU ... got it ... for some reason I didn't add the loss to Warren when I was staring at it LOL ... thanks
... I thought the gym where they played the Logan Elm game was nice as well ... hmmmm ... okay I'll just keep going the same road until I see NEW ... thanks
bman ... as you mentioned on another post - the weather is NOT looking good for the first 3 days this week ... even tomorrow is questionable with a little more snow on top of the 8+ inches we have gotten this weekend ... temps start dropping off the table Monday morning - not sure we be getting a day of school or not - we'll see ... their are games scheduled for tomorrow evening as makeups - they MIGHT play those games ...
Monday 1/27
Eastern Brown vs Hillsboro
... there were others listed on WJJK earlier BUT they switched screen only showing EB vs Hillsboro now ... I thought there were maybe 3 games on there for Monday evening ...
