... 39-60 loss to Coal Grove (21 point difference) ... dropped 4 spots ... Oak Hill lost to the SAME team by 4 in OT playing without a key BIG MAN starter dropped 5 spots ... I had to give CG credit for knocking off 2 top 8 teams in the same week ... Warren gets 2 BIG time W's as well beating a very good Chillicothe squad and Meadowbrook on the road ... the Warriors were getting into the Elite 8 on the back of those 2 wins ... Unioto is undefeated but for a 3:28 span of the opening game of the season vs Logan ... Fairfield Union is healthy for the first time sense before Christmas, Colin Woodside is fully into basketball mode now (he was still playing football allstar games through the New Year ... I'm good with the top 8 and on down the list ... I saw Sheridan vs New Lex at Sheridan on Friday and Chiilicothe at Warren Saturday night ... this week will be a great week for hoops as well ! as I will take in meaningful games on Tuesday, Friday and 4 games at Chesapeake on Saturday at the Beasts of the Southeast ...

Wow, Waverly drops that far with a very close loss at always tough to play Wheelersburg after losing a key player in Marquez when up 6 in the 2nd quarter. I expected the Tigers to fall a couple spots but not below some of those teams above them.

Glad to see my Hornets make the elite eight (first time ever?)! Kevin Vanderhoof has those boys focused and moving in the right direction! Excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds!

Waverly has the opportunity to bounce back with their game vs Jackson on Tuesday , Friday they need to take care of "bidness" at Minford and Saturday vs Fairland with a good showing at the Beasts of the Southeast ... I will be there to see what the Tigers bring to the table ...

I believe Athens is 8-9 now PFloyd. 9-7 sounds better no doubt. Hoping to get to .500 when Wellston comes to town on Tuesday and avenge that 62-61 loss earlier in the season.

... the U has to be thinking that albeit for 3:28 sec vs Logan in game #1 THEY would be undefeated ... Fairfield Union vs Unioto what a great end of the season matchup ... going to be the same when Warren visits Logan on the 16th - yet another great match up ! I love this time of year !!!
