Wait a minute here people. The Oak Hill people getting on here and talking about Regina University and Ohio All Stars is kind of the pot calling the kettle black. Both teams have benefitted from "transfers." No matter how you try and spin it. Oak Hill has accomplished a lot and SE Ohio should be very proud, but leave it for what it is. Two teams playing for a State Title and representing their schools, whether you like it or not.

I can't believe some people on here are complaining about Regina having transfers. You have to be kidding me! Unreal.

Why are we talking about recruiting.....get over it. This forum should be for support of a team that is representing southeastern Ohio. Students transferring to better themselves, or students paying to attend a private school is no one's business but the family involved. That is today's high school sports. Just play the game and stop making excuses before tip-off. Versailles beat Regina last year so its not impossible. While Regina is undefeated and has played a tough schedule this year, I still think the outcome is settled on the court. Now that I feel better..........

From VC.........go Oak Hill Oaks, Lady Oaks, Logan Elm Braves, Piketon Redstreaks, and any other southeastern ohio team still playing....Let them know we hilljacks can play ball!

Interesting fact.

No girls basketball team from the SOC has ever won the state championship.
In fact, is my research is right (and there is a great chance it isn't), the only appearances by the SOC girls basketball teams at state is Clay (1980), Oak Hill (2004) and Oak Hill (2009).

Great season Lady Oaks, I was really proud of how they competed today.

IMO Regina had superior athletes, but weren't coached very well. Oak Hill is a well coached fundamentally sound team. Now the Oaks know that they can play with any team in the state from any division. I'm sure Regina is not looking forward to seeing them next year ;)

I don't think Regina was outcoached. Hard to be outcoached when you have won 9 state championships as their coach has. Doug is a fine coach in his own right but it is hard to beat championships.
