78-32 Waterford. The final score doesn't reflect how the game was played, the JV's played the last 3 minutes and Waterford went on like a 13-1 run. Coach Close yelled at his JV's to not take a shot with 2 seconds left, but the girl did, and scored.

I have absolutely no issue with how Coach Close coached this game, he played it like any other reputable coach would have played it. Glad to see that the discussion with the administration must have set in.

Fed Hock missed about 20 lay-ups tonight, I don't know what the problem was for the girls, but they were off. Not an excuse, just an observation.

Officiating wasn't great, either way. That play where Sina caught the ball in the post and absolutely cleared out Chanda Cuckler and hit another lancer play in the face with an elbow (which wasn't intentional), drew gasps from the entire crowd, since there was NO CALL. I don't think that anyone could believe that the refs swallowed their whistle on that one.

Folks from Waterford, you are a class act, as always. Hope you enjoyed the halftime show with the twirler, she's pretty awesome, isn't she?

As for the comments directed at me by one poster on another thread, well, I don't stoop to that level and engage in a grade school argument on the playground. You showed your maturity and lack of intelligence elsewhere, and you can live with it.

Congrats to the Lady Wildcats, you played a nice game. Lady Lancers, keep playing hard and quit throwing the ball, unforced, to the team in the other colored jerseys. You can win a few more games if you stop throwing the ball away for no reason
