PATTYCAKES Sounds like sour grapes. Ask anything you want. It always starts this time of year. You do not know what you are talking about. You should remember one of Abraham Lincoln's favorite sayings, it fits well in your case." It is better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak up and remove all doubt".

I've enjoyed reading your posts for the most part but you have no clue what you're talking about here. Why are you making yourself look stupid? It's been posted above and everyone knows when the girls transferred in. Are you just upset because OH beat your beloved Jeeps this year? Jealousy will get you nowhere.

Why not just be happy for the area kids that have a great shot at doing something special in the tournament?

I know many OH fans including myself that will be cheering for the Lady Jeeps during the tourney.

I feel that if the girls had not moved from vinton county when they were in Jr high that they would not be half the ball players that they are now. Did you ever think about that?

Tell me this what have YOU guys did in your life besides get on the Internet and bash kids when all they have done is work hard to achieve their goals. You are either complete losers who are jealous or your adults that are complete losers.

GET A LIFE! They all left for good reasons and you people on here make it clearer and clearer each and every day.

Go lady oaks

Not being defensive just get tired of the jealousy over the young people of our area on this board. Like I said before I enjoy reading your posts and think you bring great insight most of the time but taking shots at OH's program for no reason, why? What's that all about?

I think you people are just jealous cause you didn't get the opportunity to play or have your kids play for OH. Hope to see the headlines in the paper "Oak Hill Allstars Win State"

Great Quote from the Father of the GOP but...

Don’t expect others to care for your feelings if you are careless with theirs. I think the initial issue from the first page of comments talked pretty disrespectful of OH opponents regardless of who they may have been (Port/Well). Are we to believe as parents we're making leaders out of these kids when their own parents cannot show a little humility on a public forum?

My daughter got on this board the other day and was pretty upset...you see, a 15,16, or 17 y/o girl won't see it like a 30+ y/o parent because they are still kids...in fact, she wanted to post a reply about it...I told her to take it to the court and let her game speak for itself...it didn't affect her game, she's a baller and got her points against OH...shame on some of you though...

I came from a school that taught young men and women to be leaders. In fact we used guiding principles that drove us in our everyday lives...words like Justice, Judgment, Decisiveness, Integrity, Dependability, Tact, Initiative, Endurance, Bearing, Unselfishness, Courage, Knowledge, Loyalty, and Enthusiasm. These words are used for a life spent defending something...there's a much bigger world out there than little ol' Oak Hill...

There's nothing wrong with OH for wanting to be successful...more power to you...in fact, I think most everybody in Southern Ohio couldn't be happier for them in hopes they win a State Title including myself...but always remember, don’t think to high of yourself because the higher you are the harder the landing when you fall...how many people remember who came in second place?

Yes oak hill has an extensive and complex recruiting program. One of our top player factories is undoubtedly the Pyro Academy for Physical Education. It is ran by head master Jerry Canter, but the kids lovingly call him unkel Beak. Next is probably the Blackfork Basketball Academy. Top Notch. The kids get a lot of physical conditioning in the Blackfork Pool and do alot of running on "The Steps". Although, the Hamden School for Athletic Improvment is a program second to none. Now, once we get the kids recruited, we employ the parents at Yummies Dairy Bar. Its closed, just used as a front. They are actually paid from split the pot and pop corn sales. If the kids have trouble with a diploma, we have a bingo hall that fronts as a GED center. Now hopefully all questions are answered about our recruiting process. Thank You

I'm going to guess there are few people not associated with Oak Hill that have seen more Lady Oak Tournamanet games than me. My family and I have driven to Waverly and Lancaster and Columbus to support the Lady Oaks in the majority of their tournament games since the heartbreaking loss to Wheelersburg and Amy Hughes in Waverly back in 1995.....but I must make one comment from above that I don't agree with.

I remember quite well a 4th or 5th grader playing basketball (just messing around) at the YMCA in Jackson. She really caught my eye on how easy she was doing things that were part of the game of basketball. Now I'm no basketball scout of any count....but that girl, providing she kept playing was going to be a very good player. Another of the players mentioned....well let's just say she has some killer genes. Her Dad started at OU and back in his days of focusing a bit on basketball was one of the better players we ever faced......these players I'm talking about were VERY good players when they went to Oak Hill...Coach Doug Hale is one of THE very best coaches around....but those two girls aren't twice the player because they went to Oak Hill....no way, those two girls would be great nearly anywhere.....especially in SE Ohio.

Good Luck in you very long tourney run.....this may very well be THE year. And if it is I'll gladly spend my $60 and be cheering them along with my family.
