I agree with Adam Dunn. This is awesome. No nonsense has obviously worked very well for Geno and his staff. While a great coaching lesson, and much greater life lesson.

Awesome stuff! We live in a win at all costs society! Go to any sporting event from youth to HS in our area any you see it. I've been an Auriemma fan for years and the one thing I've always said about Geno is- " like him or not, you never have to guess what he's thinking". Thanks for sharing Ironman! Good read for all- especially kids and parents!

sounds good except parents will never let this happen. Heck they already go to school boards, ADs to get coaches removed due to playing time, not starting, points etc. Not going to happen at very many schools.
There are exceptions where a well established coach can pull something like this off but even then if they get the right group of parents they can make the coach's life miserable
