Thanks to Christy Ritterbeck (who takes some awesome phots of the Alexander girls and boys teams) - I've been able to upload just a few pics from Monday's game in Pickerington on trivalleyconference.com.
The photos speak a thousand words in how undersized Alexander was in this match-up - A clear mis-match which the Spartans were close to overcoming ... I don't know how they do it, but Alexander has been able to utilize what they have to continously win games ... It's a true testement to the coaching job by Denton Guthrie and the effort put in 'day-in-and-day out' by his players.

Thx erv.
They may have lost - but my god Lake Ridge was huge ... I felt bad for whomever was about to tip-off for Alexander in one of those pictures -she looked like she was about to get stepped on.

Those girls were big, fast, good ball handlers and passed the ball well. The girl that was gonna jump for Lake Ridge wasn't the biggest girl there either. There was a girl there that was 2 inches taller than the Lake Ridge girl. I hope the girls now know they can play with anyone and get out of the funk they was in.

A 'funk' erv? Perhaps chalk that up to their competition ... The Spartans are undefeated in the Ohio Division still and all their losses were to really, really good teams. But I guess you have seen them play more than me - so you would probably know if they have been playing well or not so well.
Thanks for the insight man - and just because you could never throw a descent curve ball - I'll take your oppinion on the Lady Spartans as fact.

Re: Alexander Vs Lake Ridge Academy
Yes, I will call it a funk. They are 2-4 in their last 6 games. In 1 of the wins and 3 of the losses the Ladys came out flat and not ready to play instead of that fire and bounce they use to win games. The Athens and Lake Ridge games, they played with that fire. Yes they are playin some great competition and yes if your gonna stumble this is the time to do it. I just hope they use the Lake Ridge game to build on it. They played really well against a really big, good team. If they can take all the good they did from that game and play like they did against Lake Ridge, they should get a good roll going into the tournament.
