Not sure how Kari Jenkins didn't make the 1st team. I understand how Jackson finished 3rd and all and that alone makes Jackson not worthy of another player.....but she had a heckuva year.
Congrats to freshman Madison Ridout and senior Nicole Chapman...both very deserving.

I don't understand how Morgan Daniels didn't get all seoal b/c without her the angels wouldn't of won a game. You do the math!!! And Tara Young is right behind Daniels.

Why would Jackson get three players first team when Mtta got two? Mtta tied for the league title. Both teams got an honorable mention selection. There's a lot of politics in these type things...a lot of how the coach presents players...I think that players are listed by the coach in the order that the coach believes that they should be selected. Least that's how it used to be. Must say I am surprised that Logan did not have player of the year. Dawson has worked hard and Mtta coach gets her open shots. Congrats to all these players!

Keyser_soze78 I know Morgan Daniels was Honorable Mention I have followed the Angels the whole season and Morgan deserves to be all seoal, Watch and see who gets MVP I guarantee it won't be Daniels or Tara Young the one's that deserve it. It's all politics it's who you know at GAHS. And that's a pitiful way to choose.

Marietta was pretty much with two players that stood above the rest.....great team. Jackson had 3 players that stood out IMO

Morgan Daniels is good kid, good athlete, great person and a good family. Just don't think the child has gotten what she deserves. She pretty much carried te Angels when she was playing.

Congrats to Samantha Barnes of Gallia Academy on getting a well deserved spot on the all league team.
Re: 2010-2011 ALL-SEOAL GIRLS BASKETBALL
gotta agree with you fan of blue she has worked hard for four years and deserves the recognition
Re: 2010-2011 ALL-SEOAL GIRLS BASKETBALL
I can see arguements for both Gallia Academy ladies. Barnes killed us in Jackson with her quickness and setting things up. Daniels is also a very good player.
These things are alsways somewhat tainted......always have and always will.

Things like this will always be part political and it'll never change. Everyone has their own opinions and they usually don't mean much when all is said and done, it is what it isIronman92 wrote:I can see arguements for both Gallia Academy ladies. With 7 teams and only 10 players, it's a tough pick. League sets that, not the coaches. A couple really good seniors at Marietta that didn't make the list at all. Betsy and Ali played really well this year. Marietta wouldn't of made it to Regionals without them. Elizabeth did a great job also. Congrats to all the girls who made the 17 list and to all the others who played this year and helped their teams the way they did. I was surprised when Jenkins didn't make first team. She was a force every game I saw Jackson play. Tip of the hat to Pat on coach of the year.
Special thumbs up to Jorge and Allie Grace.
