LOgan JV loses a close one at Athens. Logan VArsitiy 32 Athens 51. Logan 6 down at the half but never got closer than 10 the rest of the way. 4th qtr was some transition fouls so game was really about a 10 pointer. Logan scored 2 points in the first qtr and made 3 ft in the third qtr and no baskets so quite an up and down game. Warren up next this Saturday at home.

Logan JV wins close game over Warren. Logan Varsity loses to Warren by 10 or so. I was impressed with the total effort exhibited by the Logan girls in last nights game. This has been the case all year IMO and when continued it will take this team to the top of the league. There is a lot of talent on this team and the teams coming up for the Logan program.

Logan JV 38 Fairfield Union 43 Logan Jv continues to play shorthanded. Hope to back to full strength by the Jackson game this Saturday. Logan Varsity 43 Fairfield Union 58. Logan girls playing without one starter out with flu issues but played a good game which is not truly reflected in the final score. Next up Jackson at Jackson this Saturday.

The way Walsh is handling these young ladies there is no way he will be fired. I look for Walsh to coach as long as he wants.

For some reason I can't remember the coach for the Katie Smith years?

when my daughter went through that program she played lots of summer ball, along with a few older and younger girls. watching all those games these girls would always regress during winter ball, dont know if it was lack of work by the girls or the coach not being able to get the goose bumps to rise

In the 2010-2011 league year Topf, Cassady, Linton, Simons, Murphy, Smith all played summer ball and I guess you saw all those games and the girls would always regress but they were league co-champs. ????????????

As an outsider I have always been impressed by Coach Walsh. His teams play hard and understand the game. The future is very bright in Logan with some great young talent there and more on the way from what I hear.

Logan has been pretty successful under Walsh...Not sure how that can be disputed. Comparing success in summer ball to the regular season is not exactly an indicator of a coaches success.

Since I am being crucify, well I might as well state a fact! How many talented player has the current coach ran off? I know of at least two this year! Maybe with them we might have a winning record!

Who stays to play, who decides not to, reasons for the same? Attrition in the lady basketball camp is and has as a rule been high. Two seniors this year and I think only one last year. Most sports require a lot of dedication/commitment and basketball is not different. One senior this year plays JV and limited time there. I admire her for sticking around. I also do not question any decisions made regarding continued participation by anyone.
