game at 8pm with the earlier match up being Eastern and Manchester which Eastern should handle with ease.

St. Joseph's probably has the weakest schedule in the district. South Gallia should take this one!

Turkey ... you'll be going to the Convo alright to watch the Tigers - but don't count out the Lady Rebels of South Gallia in this 2 vs 3 match-up.

I'm not sure the rebels have a much stronger schedule in the TVC Hocking

dog, I am not insinuating this is a cod lock for the Lady Flyers.......I am just trying to give them a little incentive to play up to their potential while giving credit to SG for their outstanding season.......I would luv for both the Tigers and Flyers to make it to the convo.......especially since I am an alumni of St Joe...........

we will probably cross paths next week so stop by and say hello.........

South Gallia plays Reedsville Eastern and Waterford twice and both of those teams will be in the District final....not sure how their schedule is weak?

I know that teams look at different things in early season scrimmages but if the SG/ISJ scrimmage is any indication South Gallia should roll!! Not disrespecting Coach Miller or the Lady Flyers...he's turned the program around... Just based on what I've seen!!! Good luck to both!!!

Was an odd game but a good SG victory. I did find it amusing that when St. Joe got down by ten their students stopped cheering for their team and instead began to chant to the SG students to "Go Milk your Cows" and also "to go drive your tractors". I mean seriously these kids need to get out Lawrence county to see that they are just as red neck as the rest. The SG students responded with a little chant "We love John Deer".

Oh my, kids were acting like kids at the game? Someone should have called the Jackson Police and had them all hauled away and forced them to spend a night in jail for trying to have fun.

Shame that someone feels the need to take a shot at high school kids in a student section instead of just talking about basketball.

Actually enjoyed listening to the both student sections. Sounds like both came up with some good ones. Was a good game to watch. Congrats Lady Rebels and good luck next Sunday at the Convo!
