I've guessed that Waterford has been marginally the 2nd best D4 team in the district....but figured South Webster and Peebles were right there on them.

You'd be surprised at how many games I have listened to. My radio dial rarely moves off 100.9. The deep voice fella (sorry, I always forget his name) is probably my favorite radio announcer in southeast Ohio. Heck, I sat and listened to a Warren/Marietta girls game one night just because I like hearing him call a game. lol

I bet if you go back 10 years, there is not one varsity team (boys or girls) that doesn't have at least a Paxton, Porter, Drayer, McCutcheon, Pottmeyer or Lang on it.

I found an article in the Portsmouth Daily Times. Not sure what paper is local to SW. Maybe the Peoples Defender?
