Athens getting that 8-pt lead going into halftime was huge because as the game played out, a 5-pt lead felt like a 10-pt lead.

You know its a physical game when Cobb TRIED to get the refs to call a foul late in the contest. If you're trying to foul, and wanting the ref to call a foul - and he still doesn't - that probably means they are letting a LOT go on.

Spend 2 minutes on the Highland Co Press website and check out the scores from the SCOL girls games. That whole league is defensive insistent and offensively patient and nearly every score every night shows it.

mray and ironman are correct when it comes to the SCOL and it's defense. Athens people became very touchy with a post I made last night. No disrespect to Dom she is a great player but Trace has seen better. She will play D1 just not at a major school like people have talked. They always post she scores this, she scores that. Its very simple, Trace shut her down and even when she was open she rushed or was tired. Thats ok, she still made enough plays for her team to win! It is frustrating to me that they won't give the Trace kids any credit. Trace 23- Dom 18, really? I was at the game and if I remember right Athens wouldn't have hit 30 if it were not for the foul line the last minute. Get a grip and be thankful you are moving on! Good luck to both teams, should be close for three quarters! Jackson by 14

You want - and are asking for respect - after you made this post?

O.k. ... I'll take the high road ... Miami Trace did play a great game defensively, I mentioned it several times on the broadcast ... was going to mention it on here until I read your comments and got sidetracked.
