Coaches

How does our area compare to others with the quality of coaches we have?

It's hit or miss. Part of the problem right from the start is the changing in coaches in a lot of the schools.

Collectively though, I think SE has some pretty good coaches.

Who are some of the better ones? I know Hale at Oak Hill is definite.

IMO, The Southeast District has several excellent HS Girls Basketball Coaches

Just to name a few...

Jerry Close- Waterford
Doug Hale- Oak Hill
Dusty Spradlin- Wheelersburg
Rob Davis- North Adams
Doug Graham- Ironton
Kevin Pickerill- Eastern
Jon Buchanan- Fairland

There are several other coaches in the Southeast District that go a great job with their programs; this is just a list of those that I believe are at top.

Graham from Ironton and Colgrove from Warren are the two best in my opinion. I also like Chadwell from Logan as a young and upcoming coach.

Johnson of SW is a very good coach. Defense is her first priority, girls have to be dedicated and tough to last all four years!!
