North Adams 49- Peebles 40 .final gray fouled out for Peebles about 2:36 to go and a 2 pt game. North Adams stalled and hit their foul shots. Good game. One at a time and go Indians.

Was this just a very good defensive game by both teams, a cold shooting night possibly for each team, or is the matchup between these two normally a low scoring game ?

This was a defensive struggle . They beat each other up. Refs let them play . Typical matchup as well. They don't like each other.

North Adams is pretty deep off the bench. They have alot of strength with their inside players ,much like Eastern Brown. Peebles is more of a lanky team that uses speed and quickness more than strength. Bench isn't as deep ,so this matchup worked at the holiday tournament as Peebles hit their shots ,but; it didn't work tonight. It was a very good game 2-3 points either way all night .

Thanks, as I said before, I haven't seen Peebles play this year, but did see NA early in the season. I know with them only being a very few miles apart in distance, that they both have known each other since they have been able to bounce a basketball. I'm sure that regardless the sport, boys or girls, that anytime these two schools play each other, that there is just that little bit more of a competitive nature to the game for all the kids, as well as for the fans also.
