Really looking forward to this game. I don’t know much about Rootstown, but the way Fort has been playing they should have a great shot!

Rootstown leads 51-45 with 2:53

Fort Frye might be tired, they're ice cold

Great season for the Cadets. Watched the final today, Columbus Grove beat Rootstown 65-46. Grove is an entirely different animal, their defense was just outstanding, stifling anything Rootstown tried. Grove was long and athletic, jumped out to a believe 19-2 lead and never looked back. Biggest lead I believe was 25 points.

Yeah, I listened to some of that on the radio. This was the only Fort Frye game I got to watch this season and, as great as it is they made it to state, there is a lot of distance between team #4 and team #1. Fort Frye has 4 sophomore starters returning. It will be interesting to see if and how they close that gap.

That is encouraging. With their coach, I am sure that they will close the gap over the next couple of years.
