My GUESS is that Ridgewood maybe got a transfer player or two eligible after 11 games in....or a star returning from injury. I don't know about the record but the records definitely don't matter this far along. There are 16 teams remaining and cupcakes are nowhere to be found.

Ridgewood drilled the #2 seed and the #1 seed in the East by large margins.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'd be a bit surprised if the #3 seed just dominated the #2 and #1 seeds along the way without something coming about.

I looked up Ridgewood and they lost bad to Garaway during the regular season twice. Ridgeway also finished the season sketchy. Lost like 4 of their last 6 games before the tournament. Something is up with this team. Generally if a high school girls team isn't very good, they don't just suddenly game talent and become unbeatable. This game makes me very nervous for the Lady Mustangs...
