TVC OHIO
Lets get this started, personally I feel that Athens is the team to beat, good players and finally have a coach. Coach McNeal will teach these ladies about life and basketball just like he's done with me and hundreds of others. Athens does not realize how lucky they are.

Re: TVC OHIO
I don't think Nelsonville-york will finish that low, but with a new coach I'm sure this season will be a rebuilding type year.
Championship's are won in the off-season

VC will be much improved. Their bigs are experienced and good. Lost a good guard, but rest of team has been working hard in the offseason.
Alex lost 3 key seniors but has added a SR big and two FR.
NY lost a key player, but is still deep. They have added a nice FR.
RV will be similar to last year but I believe they may have a nice FR coming in too.
Meigs lost a key player or two, but has a talented FR class coming in.
Losing TVC Ohio POY plus one of the league's best defenders is never good. The cupboard isn't dry, but a lot of changes from last year.
Wellston will be a mystery to me. I don't have any insight on their status this year.

What Big did Alex have move in? And Vinton needs to play some defense besides that AAU ball and junk.

Re: TVC OHIO
My understanding is not only are they bringing back everything, but adding a very strong post player and two very good freshman players. Alexander will be very good after making it to the district finals last year.Raider6309 wrote:Alexander should be the heavy favorite, don't they bring back everything?

Re: TVC OHIO
Spoke with coach and numbers for Athens is down a little lower than what he'd like, but he will get those kids playing a style they've never thought possible with a little time. Said the girls are really working hard and once they learn his system great things will happen. Already got two weeks of scrimmages under their belts and starting this week the team will be whole and should really come together.
