turnovers turnovers!! when minford kids start playing to win instead ,of playing not to loose .in all high school sports they will be dangerous thats the way burg plays they get there foot on your neck and dont let off until there enemy bleeds out it is time for minford to get that attitude!!!!

You are right BM 24. The Lady Falcs played there heart out but you could tell that Burg always thought they were going to win it and the lady falcs were not quite so sure and towards the end it cost em. However, great defense from the Lady Falcs and tremendous season... Nobody ever thought you would get this far. Hold your heads up high Ladies because you represented our community with nothing but class. Until next year.......be careful and have a SAFE summer.........I will see you in Game 1 next year! Good Luck Lady Pirates...........Show the state how good the Soc 2 is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lady Falcons played tremendous defense..and held a top team to 33 points..I couldn't be more proud of their effort..they were well prepared for this game by their coaches and represented our community with a lot of class and dignity. Can't wait to see this how this team develops over the summer and look forward to see how far they will go! Thanks for a great year girls!

lovevball8 : You must not subcribe to The Daily Times, I don't know who Millie is but she does a great job of getting the information out,although she calls herself Minford her posts are always fair. I think it was a very nice thing the coaches did selecting Courtnie Merritt as co-player, we all hated about her accident and I know she is well liked by all the other teams. I am sure the girls didn't mind having her taking one of their places, we have a fine bunch of Ladys in the SOC and some of the coaches are really "ole softies"

Son: you're right I don't. I know that earlier posts stated they wouldn't be released until all teams had been beaten. Is there a complete list somewhere on the forum?

No online link for the Portsmouth Daily Times, but there is one for The Pike County News Watchman. And no, I'm not a coach nor personally associated with one.
