Berlin Hiland wins their third championship in four years this afternoon by defeating Columbus Africentric. The Hawks used a 24-0 run during the second and third quarters, then held on in the fourth for the victory. Africentric led 13-5 after the first; Hiland led 18-15 at the half; and 29-22 after three quarters.
Hiland finishes the season at 26-1, while Africentric ends up 25-2. The only team to beat Hiland this year was Garaway, who is playing in the D-3 championship game later this afternoon.
