Athens lost in the semifinals Thursday morning 40-39. Lost on a put back basket at the buzzer.

But then I think how the girls are down in Florida soaking up all that sunshine ... I'm sure they will be o.k. ... 8)

They lost the 3rd game 47-44 to Castlewood, Virginia. Dominique Doseck was named MVP of the Tournament as she scored 14.3 ppg in the tournament.

Sounds like some very entertaining HS basketball going on in the FL tournament and a couple hard-fought, close losses for the Bulldogs. Congratulations to the Ms. Dosek for her accomplishment. I hope the group is having a great time in Florida and that they have a fun and safe trip home.

Eventhough the tourney record wasn't as good as it looks like it could have been, congratulations for being so competative.
